How Hungry Are You For Success?

That may seem like an odd question, but it is a valid one I assure you!

Go ahead, don’t be shy… Answer the question!

Now, evaluate what you answered. Did you just lie to yourself?

Yes… I REALLY did just ask you that.

Why? Because in my years as an Internet Network Marketer, I have seen many people lie to not only me, but their selves.

How do I know this?

Simply by the fruit of their labor or lack of. You can tell a lot about a person, if you take the time to sit and listen, then sit and watch. Do their words match their action?

hungry for success

So, I want you to sit here and evaluate your answer again, did you tell the truth?

  • Are you willing to lose a little sleep here and there, maybe even forget to eat sometimes to have success?
  • Are you willing to be teachable and to go out of your comfort zone for success?
  • Are you willing to be humble enough to admit when you have made a mistake and smart enough to learn from it in order to be successful?
  • Are you willing to take the flack of all the nay sayers and persevere just to be successful?
  • Are you willing to inspire others with your REAL story versus a fabricated made up lie to have success?
  • Are you willing to go the distance, even if you do not make your goal in 30, 60, 90 days or more… FOR SUCCESS…
  • Are you willing to admit when you do not know something, are you willing to ask for help to have success?
  • Are you willing to find the money to pay for your business expenses, even when you think you don’t have the money?
  • Are you willing to cut back on non-essential things to not only have enough money, but also have enough time to work your business?
  • Are you ready to stop making excuses and start looking for solutions?

How successful do you really want to be? How hungry are you really?

If you answered ‘NO’ to any of those questions, then you are not hungry enough for success…

If you lied to yourself and answered ‘YES’ when your fruit is proof it is an obvious ‘NO’, then you are not hungry enough for success…

In order to truly succeed at anything, you my friend have better be REALLY hungry for it or you will reap what you sow.

You better know why you want to do whatever it is you say you want to be successful at and remind yourself daily as it will be the only way you will continue to stay hungry.

Take the time to get real with yourself now. Our days are numbered, each day is a gift, use it wisely. Do what you have a passion & calling for, what you are hungry for or get out of the way. Stop wasting your time and others time today by getting real right now.

This post was inspired after talking to my good friend Larry Rivera about an old friend of his, but new friend of mine David Friant. This man is hungry for SUCCESS… He is hungry to work from home. You can see it all over his action & fruit. It does not matter what life is throwing at him, how much he could make the ‘no time’ excuse, how much he does not know… He is going for it, no matter what obstacle comes his way!

He is that person that leaders dream about bringing into their business. A person who knows nothing about nothing in this Internet Network Marketing world, yet he is taking action day in and day out despite the odds and is humble enough to be teachable.

What do I see for David in the next 90 days? He may not see it, but Larry & I see where he is going. If he stays this hungry, then David will see nothing but absolute SUCCESS!

You cannot fail, when you are that hungry.

I will ask you one more time… How bad do you want it? How hungry are you for success?

This video will help you decide what side you stand on. I made this over a year ago, however the message is absolutely relevant to this post and to your success…

Thank you so much brother! Your comment truly warms my heart :) There is certainly a balance and a price paid for doing this His way vs. the world. However, it can be done and should be done! Todah!

      His rewards are priceless!

I’m looking forward to see how hungry you are to provide for your family working from home…

    Awesome post Jamie,
Your right too! If you want to be successful you have to be hungry and be willing to do things that may not be comfortable to you…

Successful people don’t cry about shizzit, They just do what it takes….

Thanks for stopping in and commenting Larry! I think successful people cry some and maybe even whine at times… After all they are human too and imperfect ;)

I think the difference is, they don’t stay crying/whining for long. For me personally, I have either had a good friend like you kick me in the rear to get back on track or I have proverbially and sometimes literally slapped myself back into focus on the target ahead.

But yes in the end their drive and their desire (hunger) gives them seemingly supernatural powers to just do what it takes :)

    Dear Jamie.
Sure feels good to be around likeminded people, it inspires me to keep my mindset and don’t loose track.
A while ago, I used this story in my blog post (I use allot of illustrative stories) and I thought I’d share with you.
A Hound started a Hare from his lair, but after a long run, gave up the
chase. A goat-herd seeing him stop, mocked him, saying,
“The little one is the best runner of the two.” The Hound replied,
“You do not see the difference between us: I was only running for
a dinner, but he for his life.”

Do everything as if it is the last thing you do in life. One day you will be right.
Hey guess what, you don’t know when that day is,

I am glad you are getting inspired, I know I have been by you all too!

I absolutely agree Gina, our days are numbered and we do not know which will be our last. I knew this and then in 2005, when my son was born full-term stillborn, I realized not only are our days numbered we are never promised our first breath let alone are next breath.

Each breath we take is a blessing and a gift, let alone each day that we are given :) If more people got that they are not entitled to a tomorrow, this would would be a much better place. Though I am grateful there are still plenty of wonderful people (such as you) despite what the majority is doing.
