Funded Proposal – A Sad Day

by Larry Rivera on February 22, 2010

One of the main inspirations I had to make the Perfect Funded Proposal System passed away this weekend. He was a personal friend who inspired me to live a better life. Though many of you may not know him he touched many lives. His story is one of triumph and compassion.

I could go on and on how special he was to me and to the people that knew him.  Instead I just want to share with you one of his blogs…

7 Ways To Improve Google Adsense Income

by Larry Rivera on February 17, 2010

Some people can actually make decent money through contextual advertising by itself.  Today I am going to talk about one of the more popular ones.

Here’s seven tips to boost your Google Adsense income.

1.Restrict your Adsense blocks to one per page. While you might think that multiple ads mean multiple ways to increase your Google Adsense money, what really happens is always that lower value ads are positioned on your site. If the visitor is going to click, you need him to click on a high value ad.

2.Use multiple formats. The primary Ads by Google block is great, but it should be only one of three formats. The other two are the text link ad (which you can make look like your navigation bar) and the Google search tool. Using one of all these formats doesn’t violate rule #1.

3.Place a sizable rectangle above the fold. The simplest way to format a page would be to have your headline followed by a large Adsense block. Start the keyword-rich article down below.

4.Have content rich sites. You need to try to have a minimum of three phrases on each page that Google can “grab ahold of” to make ad placements. Among the quickest ways to lose your shirt is for Google not to be able to place any ads and display public service ads instead.

5.If you wish to make Google Adsense income, you must chase higher paying keywords. While you build websites, you will discover that some Adsense clicks are only worth a penny or two while others make a couple of dollars. Highly competitive high dollar industries like insurance and personal injury law tend to be best. When in doubt, make use of the Google Adwords tool to find out whether advertisers in the industry are spending lots per click.

6.Generate more traffic to your site. For those who have a click through rate of 10 percent, you know that 10 percent coming from all new visitors who come to your website is likely to make serious cash. So, go out and entice more people towards your site. It’ll make you more Google Adsense money.

7.Test, test test. All of the above are suggestions based on “best practices” that other people have observed. But to create real Google Adsense money, you’ve got to test things out on your own. Change the colors within the ads and see whether that affects your click through rate. Move the ads around on the page. Try different size ads. Then, when you get a format that works, stay with it.

Google Adsense can be a profitable way to build websites for cash. But, you need to treat it as an online business. Generally, blogging about your life won’t bring you much in the way of Adsense income. While even earning a few dollars for keeping an online diary appeals to some, if you want to create a business beyond being a Google Adsense publisher, you need to take it seriously.

Meaning chasing the quality keywords, developing Adsense friendly websites, and driving visitors to it. You need to test to make sure everything is producing as well as it could.

And, that’s how you make real Google Adsense money.
