When I first got involved with this industry I just jumped right in. I never thought about was I spending my money wisely or not. I just spent it and that was a huge mistake. Sometimes I wish I could turn back time and spend the thousands of dollars that I spent on crap in better places. Such is life you live and you learn and move on.
Out of all that mess though I learned many valuable lessons , such as buying leads suck. I was told what most of you where told. Just go to (insert whatever lead place you like) go buy some leads and give them a call.
I bought so many different lead packages always with the same results.
- Bought bulk lead packages you know the ones that you pay $30 for 20,000 leads.. Wanna know how many opt -ins I got with that package… If I remember correctly like NONE!
- Bought fresh double opt-in opportunity leads, these leads where HOTT!!!! Ya I called a bunch of them, most of the time I got this reply “I don’t know how you got my number don’t ever call me again”.
I could go on with my pity party stories but I really don’t feel like re-living the experience. The only leads worth buying are co-reg leads. Generally these leads actually opt -in to whatever your message is that at least pre-qualifies them.
Pay Per Click Marketing – This can actually be very effective if you know what you are doing. It took me about 3 thousand dollars before I really understood how to use the ppc marketing. Once I understood how to use it effectively it came down to marketing using the right type of lead capture pages with that form of advertising.
The Truth – There are so many other more effective ways to market for a newbie that ppc should be the last place you look to get traffic. Unless of course you have money to burn, because believe me you will burn through some doe until you learn how to do it right.
The easiest way to minimize your risk is to ask your upline how they brought you into the business and do exactly what they are doing.
That really is the easiest way. May not be the cheapest but generally speaking if you do as your upline does and your upline is having success in their marketing campaigns you can expect the same thing.
Believe it or not getting traffic and leads is actually the easy part of this business. Convincing your leads that you are the person they should be working with can be tricky.
Basically when you join a network marketing business you are basically hiring your sponsor to help you. They may not see it that way, but its true. It is your sponsors job to teach you the ropes so to speak. If they aren’t doing that the first thing you have to do is dump your sponsor.
If you feel like you are running around like a chicken without a head, I recommend stop what you are doing and re-evaluate your situation.
Stay focused on accomplishing one task at a time. Above all else, love what you are doing or don’t do it!
