I am glad you are getting inspired, I know I have been by you all too!

I absolutely agree Gina, our days are numbered and we do not know which will be our last. I knew this and then in 2005, when my son was born full-term stillborn, I realized not only are our days numbered we are never promised our first breath let alone are next breath.

Each breath we take is a blessing and a gift, let alone each day that we are given If more people got that they are not entitled to a tomorrow, this would would be a much better place. Though I am grateful there are still plenty of wonderful people (such as you) despite what the majority is doing.

Absolutely! I see that all the time. So many people do not understand comment etiquette. If a person only has time to comment on Facebook or the person’s blog, they should like the post in FB, but comment on the blog. In the end the writer will get more edification from other readers but also more search engine love.

I also agree, while most people do not want to live ‘simple’ comments, it is quite frankly better than leaving none at all.

Also, sometimes if I know I want to leave an insightful comment and for whatever reason have no time, then I will add it to my notebook to come back to later on that day when I have some down time to do commenting.

Dear Jamie.
Sure feels good to be around likeminded people, it inspires me to keep my mindset and don’t loose track.
A while ago, I used this story in my blog post (I use allot of illustrative stories) and I thought I’d share with you.
A Hound started a Hare from his lair, but after a long run, gave up the
chase. A goat-herd seeing him stop, mocked him, saying,
“The little one is the best runner of the two.” The Hound replied,
“You do not see the difference between us: I was only running for
a dinner, but he for his life.”

Do everything as if it is the last thing you do in life. One day you will be right.

Great post! I was just saying how we all are probably guilty of commenting on a blog post on a social networking site and not going to the actual blog itself. Even if your comment is as simple as ‘Thanks for sharing this’ or ‘wow.. that’s insightful!’ , it is still a comment nonetheless and the author appreciates it

Thanks for stopping in and commenting Larry! I think successful people cry some and maybe even whine at times… After all they are human too and imperfect

I think the difference is, they don’t stay crying/whining for long. For me personally, I have either had a good friend like you kick me in the rear to get back on track or I have proverbially and sometimes literally slapped myself back into focus on the target ahead.

But yes in the end their drive and their desire (hunger) gives them seemingly supernatural powers to just do what it takes
