Setting Your Intention - 4 Easy Steps To Follow

I have personally found after practicing what I learned in Empower Network about setting your intention that it has become easier for me to do task like blogging. First let me tell you why you should be setting your intention. A problem I see that many people have is knowing where they are going and why they are doing what they are doing.
Step 1 – Write down your intention. Before you do anything you need to know what it is you want to do. I use to be one of those people who figured if it’s in my head that’s good enough. The result was I really wasn’t following through with action. The reason I believe is because I never set a clear intention, rather I just had a vague idea what I wanted to do.
Step 2 – A big one is tell someone what you plan on doing. Don’t assume because you wrote something enough that you will follow through with it. I recommend telling important people in your life what your intention is. Make sure you ask them to hold you accountable for your actions. I found when I wanted to quit smoking cigarettes I failed the first few attempts. As soon as I started telling my family and friends what my intentions where I finally quit smoking those nasty cancer sticks.
Step 3 – Nothing screams your intention better than taking action on it right now.
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today.
-Lord Chesterfield
Step 4 - Give yourself praise when you accomplish your intention. Nothing is more powerful than achieving what you set out to do. Remember that you got it done because you clearly defined what it was you wanted to do. If you follow these steps you will see that you will be able get so much more out of life.
